Dry for the past 16 days. No rain. For those days, only the northern Cagayan areas had popcorn convection. This morning was humid, 30° at 7 am. Two days ago it was 28°. I guessed it would rain today. Correct. Convection occured over Natonin. In my observations, convections that occur around Paracelis would mean rain reaching the valley. Would I be correct?

See the flooded ground? Dry, compact soil is less absorbent. This is the reason why torrential downpours that happen after long stretches of dry weather cause flooding. The soil is not ready to absorb the water.
