Early morning drizzle. I am not sure if it was heavy or how long it was. Before I slept last night, there was thunder.

It got sunny around lunchtime with big clouds on the horizon.

Dry for the past 16 days. No rain. For those days, only the northern Cagayan areas had popcorn convection. This morning was humid, 30° at 7 am. Two days ago it was 28°. I guessed it would rain today. Correct. Convection occured over Natonin. In my observations, convections that occur around Paracelis would mean rain reaching the valley. Would I be correct? I'll upload videos on my Threads.  Things I learned today: kelvin wave, spring variability See the flooded ground? Dry, compact soil is less absorbent. This is the reason why torrential downpours that happen after long stretches of dry weather cause flooding. The soil is not ready to absorb the water.
